The pressure is on now. Last year we were underestimated we went up against the veterans and were triumphant. Now there’s an expectancy of us to defend our title. But what we have in our favour is that it’s all about the Music, you can’t trick the ravers and the ravers will respond to who plays the best music. And when it comes to the knowledge of music and how to deliver it…. I believe in US !!!!

The Story:

Graduating from the school of the Original Winner Roadshow, NWR have been DJ’ing on the scene since 2000.  Long before they were legally old enough to be allowed into licensed venues.

NWR hails from West & North West London. With an original line up of Richie F & Mista Hooli, joined by DJ Syfer & now with a new addition, DJ Stylez.

With Richie F doing late night slow jam radio shows on Unique FM; from playing at various nightclubs each week including Illusions in Streatham to Corks Wine Bar, The Royal Lounge, to “blues dances”, house parties and warehouse dances all over London playing tunes far beyond his years.

Add DJ Syfer’s Beat FM radio show days to Mista Hoolis IG Live slow jam sessions to the mix, plus DJ Stylez continuing the legacy for the new school generation, it’s safe to say that NWR are equipped with a level of musical knowledge making them strong contenders to be victorious in the 2025 Play Another Slow Jam Clash.
